INDECENT EXPOSURE DEEP IN POETRY

Chasing My Fairy-tale

It was the wind in the willow that brought you to my pillow.
Thumbelina so small,
but grew when she met you.
And when I walked through the wardrobe,
I entered into a whole new world,
with you around.
And like Mary Poppins,
my feet have not touched the ground.
And like The Mermaid I’m chasing my fairytale,
I’d throw my brunette locks down to the ground if I thought it would help you climb to my town,
and with you in my bed I’d hope for many mattresses,
and I promise,
I would never look at another ginger bread man again.
